Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Appleton, WI.

Your Role:

In this exciting role as a Quality Engineer you will be reviewing and improving quality systems as well as mentoring the plants on the production part approval process (PPAP), corrective action reports (CARs), and our Quality Management System/Database. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate plant activities
  • Generate solutions by identifying and resolving issues in products and processes
  • Meet customer needs, respond to testing, and analyze complaints
  • Supervise corporate quality associates

Job Requirements

We need you to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or statistics
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or quality assurance
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt of Black Belt training (or ability to maintain American Society for Quality or Certified Quality Engineer certification within 18 months of start date)
  • Know how to use and implement statistical process control (SPC)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Working knowledge of good manufacturing process (GMP) requirements, hazard analysis, and safe quality food (SQF) level 2

Icing on the cake:

  • Managerial experience
  • Experience with ISO 9000 or other quality systems
  • Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
