We currently have an opportunity for a Temporary Storeroom Clerk located in Tamaqua, PA.  The position will last approximately six (6) months.

The Temporary Storeroom Clerk assists in managing the day-to-day activities within the parts room in the Hefty plant. The position requires an energetic, adaptable, and motivated individual who will be able to work in a fluid environment subject to changing conditions.

The Temporary Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Manage Parts Receiving - Oversee parts receipt, verifying correct quantity and quality of parts, and place-received parts into corresponding storage locations.

 

  • Organized Parts Room – Manage and improve parts room layout to optimize ease of locating parts and effectiveness of storage space utilization.

 

  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy – Actively conduct cycle counting procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.

 

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring new programs – Drive and implement new ideas to improve the efficiency of the parts room. Work with all aspects of Tech. Services to enhance our inventory system.

Job Requirements

 

To be considered for the Temporary Storeroom Clerk opportunity, candidates should possess:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Basic mathematical ability required
  • Good verbal communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to work in a team or independently
  • Beginner computer skills prefered

THE EXTRA MILE:

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong sense of organization
  • Understanding of SAP inventory management software
  • Background in inventory management or logistics prefered
